MakeNav is a HTML code generator.
The user can generate linked pages to catalog graphic and multimedia files.
The HTM pages created use two frames:
- Left Frame - to display the index of possible links.
- Right Frame - to display graphic resources.
- User selects sub-directory where processing will begin.
- User selects index/default.htm file name.
- User selects Rename files using 8.3 (DOS) filenames.
Option to RenameAll or OnlyAsNeeded.
When using 8.3 naming conventions, illegal extensions are ignored.
- User selects Recurse sub-directories to link and process all child sub-directories.
- Optional Descending Sort by filenames in the Left Frame.
- 17 Legal file types accepted
(JPG, GIF, AVI, WAV, MPG, MPEG, JPEG, ZIP, MID, MIDI, TXT, DOC, XLS, PPT, WRI, CRD, BMP).
- ALT-B accelerator for Build Button.
- ALT-S accelerator for Select Button.
- ALT-X accelerator for Exit Button.
Great for preparing a linked web of HTM files before burning CDs of resources.

- After successful build, a shortcut to the generated web is placed in the StartButton->Documents Menu.

MakeNav is avaliable for you to use right now by downloading this zipFile and performing a simple program setup.

Less than 3 minutes at 28.8 KBd.
Save it on your harddrive in some temporary sub-directory (/eg C:\Temp).
- Run WinZip95.exe to extract 14 Installation Files from the ZIPfile to your floppy drive or to any sub-directory.
- Install MakeNav as described in this document.
